Payments & Contracts

Sign once. Settle everything.

Every signed contract becomes a payment schedule. Multi-rate engine native to the platform. Settlement on chain, paired with verifiable receipts. The royalty waterfall runs itself, tax forms generate in-house. The contract pays itself. Signed → settled.

Free to start. Settled on-chain. Books reconciled.
Why Payments

Invoice chase, reconciliation hell, and the universal “where’s my payment” email.

Mix-IP collapses contracts, schedules, and settlement into one execution layer. Every signed contract becomes a payment schedule. Every milestone releases automatically. Every distribution fires the registry’s splits. Every receipt is verifiable on chain. Creators stop chasing invoices. Studios stop reconciling by hand. Royalty participants stop wondering where their share went. The contract pays itself — signed once, settled forever.

5 rates Native rate engine Day, fixed, percentage, royalty, hourly — every rate format the industry actually uses. Stack them on one role; switch the active rate per project.
Auto Execution from contract Negotiated terms become the payment schedule the moment the ink dries. Milestone gates, recoupment, currency, withholding — all wired from the signing event.
On-chain Settled with receipt Every payment paired with a verifiable chain receipt. Disputes timestamped. Reconciliation reads the same ledger AP does — one source of truth, no float game.
Built in Forms and reconciliation W-9, 1099-NEC, K-1, international withholding, VAT, GST — generated, sent, filed. Books closed at period end without a bolt-on accounting service.

01/05

The contract

When the ink dries, the schedule fires.

What gets executed when a contract signs: the payment schedule (milestones, due dates, gating events), the recoupment terms (advances, marketing spend, third-party costs), the currency and rail (domestic ACH, wire, international SWIFT, card rails, on-chain), and the withholding profile per participant. The negotiated terms ARE the payment schedule. No separate AP workflow, no purchase-order chase, no ticket queue. Sign once; the lifecycle runs.

Each milestone can gate on a delivery event: a treatment uploaded, a rough cut approved, master files delivered through Pro Transfer App. When the gate trips, the milestone releases — on-chain settlement → takes it from there.

Multi-rate engine

Every rate the industry uses. Native.

Day rates for shoot crews. Fixed fees per milestone for writers and directors. Percentage backends for talent. Royalties on gross or net for IP holders. Hourly for post and edit. All five formats stack on one role — switch the active rate per project, per phase, per scope. No spreadsheet acrobatics, no “flat fee or hourly?” binary, no rate format that needs a side-letter to compute. The platform speaks the language the industry actually negotiates in.

Mix and match within one contract: day rate during shoot, fixed at delivery, then a percentage backend after recoupment. The schedule resolves to the right rate at the right time, automatically.

Settlement on-chain

From dispatch to receipt, on chain.

Every payment dispatches over the right rail and lands with a verifiable receipt. Domestic ACH for fast same-country settlement, SWIFT for international, SEPA across the eurozone, card rails for instant, on-chain for transparent — the rail picks itself based on the recipient and the contract terms. A chain receipt is paired with every distribution, so disputes can timestamp, books can reconcile to the same ledger, and royalty participants can verify their share end-to-end. No float game. No mystery.

Asset delivery via Pro Transfer App can release a milestone payment automatically: when the transfer-completion event fires, the next gate trips and the schedule advances — recipient cleared, receipt issued, books updated in one move.

Royalty waterfall

The waterfall just runs.

Funds land. Recoupment first — the studio advance, the marketing spend, third-party costs. Then primary participants by their registered share. Then secondary participants — composers, sound design, agency commission. The IP Registry decides who gets paid what. Payments executes the distribution end-to-end the moment funds clear. Same waterfall the deal team modeled, now wired to live wallets and verifiable on-chain receipts.

Sync licenses, theatrical settlements, streaming residuals, merch royalties — the source doesn’t matter. Funds map to a registered right, the waterfall resolves, the rails dispatch. Books reconcile against the same record the registry holds. One ledger, one truth.

05/05

Tax + reconciliation

Forms. Withholding. Books, closed.

Every payment knows which form it triggers and which jurisdiction it sits in. W-9 collected at onboarding. 1099-NEC and K-1 generated, sent, and filed at year-end. International recipients get the right withholding profile applied per the relevant treaty — 1042-S, VAT reverse charge, GST where applicable. Disputes go to escrow with a timestamped trail. Books reconcile against the same on-chain ledger the receipts live on. Period closes the way it should: clean.

Multi-currency, multi-rail, multi-jurisdiction — one execution layer. FX conversion happens on the rail, withholding applies on the line, the form lands in the recipient’s mailbox without anyone touching a spreadsheet.
